Oil Cooler Kit Standard 10-Row Circuit Spec ZN8/ZD8
This oil cooler kit has been developed through repeated circuit testing, designed for everything from street driving to circuit time attacks.
Product features
Uses Lightweight Hoses
The EARL’S PRO LITE 350 used for the oil cooler hoses is about 40% lighter than typical stainless mesh hoses of the same length, reducing the weight increase on the front overhang and minimizing the impact on handling. Additionally, the flexible nylon mesh hoses, made of flame-resistant material that’s less aggressive on the body, are easier to route through complex areas under the headlights and inside the bumper, improving workability.
Development of Direct Fitting
For the oil line extraction oil block and connection to the oil cooler core, we’ve developed a ‘Direct Fitting’ that allows direct piping to each part, instead of the conventional female-male-female connection method. This achieves a stress-free oil line. Additionally, the reduction in connection points minimizes issues such as oil leaks.
Compatible with OEM Water-Cooled Oil Cooler
Water-cooled oil coolers generally tend to suppress oil temperature rise during intense sports driving, but water temperature can easily increase due to their structure. Our in-house tests conducted under harsh circuit conditions compared using both water-cooled and air-cooled oil coolers versus using only an air-cooled oil cooler. The results showed that using both the OEM water-cooled oil cooler and our air-cooled oil cooler together provided more stable water and oil temperatures, so we designed the product to utilize both.
Inlet Duct Outlet Net Included as Standard
By positioning the oil cooler core setup next to the radiator, we’ve designed it to avoid heat damage to the radiator and air conditioner condenser. Additionally, equipping the core itself with a wind guide plate directs the incoming airflow to the rear outlet in the inner fender, maintaining stable cooling performance.
Aluminum Core Adopted
The oil cooler core uses lightweight aluminum with excellent heat dissipation properties. A GReddy clear blue coating is applied to the surface, significantly improving durability and corrosion resistance. (Includes GReddy logo)
Suitable for Year-Round Use
The oil block in the kit includes a built-in thermostat as standard, preventing overcooling in winter and making it suitable for year-round use. Additionally, the plug union can be replaced with an optional sensor adapter (CODE: 16400720) to allow for the installation of an aftermarket meter sensor. *1/8PT size
Maintains Oil Condition
By stabilizing oil temperature through the installation of an oil cooler, it prevents rapid degradation of the engine oil itself, maintaining its lubricating, cleaning, and anti-corrosion properties, which ultimately extends its life.
