Genuine carbon + 35-layer clear coating

Carbon combination steering wheels use genuine carbon fiber throughout.
The surface is finished with a 35-layer hard-film clear coating, creating a three-dimensional and deep texture of genuine carbon.

Carefully selected premium leather

We use premium leather that features a soft touch that conforms to your hand and prevents unintended slipping.

Gun grip

We’ve adopted a gun grip shape with a slightly recessed grip position. This design considers not only visual changes but also improved comfort and operability. The natural feeling of the grip conforming to your hand instantly is a unique characteristic of the ‘GReddy Steering Wheel’.

Back grip

The back of the steering wheel features indentations that match the shape of your fingers. This increases the contact area during grip, improving operability by increasing friction.

Hand-stitched seams

The leather stitching is carefully done by hand, one stitch at a time, by skilled craftsmen. We use a sophisticated stitching method called ‘Euro stitching’ to enhance the luxurious feel.

The diameter is smaller than the original steering wheel. (Measurement position: Figure B)

Product Performance

･ Lightweight, high-rigidity frame
Like the original steering wheel, we use an aluminum alloy known for its lightweight and durability, with a focus on enhanced safety.

･ Strength testing conducted by a third-party organization
Rigorous inspections are conducted by a third-party organization (*1). Load tests (loading test) and rotational force tests (torque test) have proven that it has strength equivalent to the original steering wheel. *1: SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance), one of the world’s largest inspection and certification bodies headquartered in Switzerland

･ Compatible with original parts and airbag
Parts that come with the original steering wheel, as well as airbags and paddle shifters, can be transferred directly to the GReddy steering wheel.
*Airbag, switches, paddle shifters, and cover parts are not included with the GReddy steering wheel.

･ Wood chip compressed material for enhanced safety in collisions
While the internal grip material of most steering wheels is plastic or natural wood, which may splinter and compromise safety if broken upon impact, the interior of GReddy steering wheels uses ‘wood chip compressed material’ formed by compressing finely crushed natural wood chips. This structure is safer for the human body even in the event of an impact. *Excluding some products
