Product features
LINK’s software offers highly advanced and flexible tuning capabilities, enabling high-level engine management system control. It performs high-speed computational processing by using fuel and ignition tables together with configurable engine load (pressure/throttle position) and engine speed sensors. This allows for precise tuning through fuel and ignition mapping with main tables and three additional correction tables.
All ECUs can be updated on-site, eliminating the need to send units back for software updates. Some models are designed as ‘plug-in ECUs’ to replace the circuit board inside the original ECU. The flexible and easy-to-install design allows for minimal modifications to vehicle wiring and ECU installation, minimizing issues such as poor connections.
- It is also possible to remove the stock ECU, and apart from the engines main management system which controls fueling and ignition-timing, it can also control variable valve timing (VVTi、VANOS) or drive-by-wire systems (electronic throttle control).
- It also enables relay control for fuel pumps, electric fans, and air conditioning magnetic clutches, as well as duty cycle control for boost control, rotary metering oil pumps, and idle control valves (solenoid or stepping motor types).
- Up to 3 variables can managed, and generic settings are also possible. You can also freely control additional fuel pumps and electronic exhaust valves.
- It can flexibly adapt to vehicles with transplanted or replaced crank angle or cam angle sensors. It’s adept at handling various applications, from sequential fuel control on a 1965 V8 Mustang, to group injection and simultaneous ignition control on a 330 Gloria (1976 L28 modified to 3.1L), to sequential injection and simultaneous ignition control on a BMW 2002tii (1971). It’s also proficient in engine swaps such as installing a 1JZ-GTE (VVTi) in an RPS13 180SX, a 3S-GE (VVTi) in an AE86, or a 20B in an FD3S.
- With an output signal to the vehicles tachometer (which also matches up to different cylinder configurations), and vehicle speed output signal (output of varying pulses), makes this product ideal for engine swaps.
