GReddy DCT COOLER KIT For R35
For R35 GT-R fail safe activates when DCT(dual clutch transmission) oil temperature exceeds 140℃ and then throttle kept closed.
Stock vehicle also equips water cooled heat exchanger but it is cleary incompetent for sport drive, so we have developed the additional air cooling DCT oil cooler inside the left front fender. Combined to use stock oil cooler, keeping DCT oil temperature proper by water cooling stock oil cooler when cold satrt, and from city drive to circuit drive, it raises transmission operation ability and durability of GR6 type transmission.

Core position : Left Front Fender inside
Focusing on cooling efficiency, 13 row oil cooler core mounts inside the left front fender.
Included Special air duct for GTR
It equips FRP made specified air duct and cooling air is lead from front bumper and it cools core down effectively. Separating plate is located inside the air duct like stock oil cooler duct, cooling wind is conducted to radiator face averagely and it raises cooling performance.
※ To drill on the duct of the bumper left side is necessary.
Oil Block which Built-in thermostat for R35GTR
Oil outlet block is precisely manufactured by milling from the soild aluminium block(alumite treatment). The thermostat installed in the block combined with the stock heat exchanger stabilizes the oil temperature immediately even in the cold start.
Newly designed oil block perfectly separates the line of stock heat exchanger and the line of DCT cooler core, if the oil temperature elevates high, DCT oil does not go through stock heat exchanger, so no oil pressure loss occurs and ensures sufficient oil flow. And water temperature and DCT oil temperature does not interfere together, so control of oil and water temperature is easy.
Aluminum piping for GTR
Adopted Dia 14 aluminum pipes for connecting oil block and oil cooler core.
To route oil pipe line shortest, DCT oil pump pressure loss is reduced, sufficient oil flow is insured and for alminimu pipe, making the instration of alimium pipe as easy as possible, they are separated into 3 pieces and connected with flange and O-ring each other. The flange is precisely manufactured as connecting part by milling from aluminium block.
Adopted the light-weight nylon hose.
Adopted #10 size fitting and the flame retardant light weight nylon mesh hose for connecting aluminum pipes, oil cooler core and oil block.
